First produced in 1961 by Danish Designer Poul Volther, the Corona chair was originally crafted from solid oak. After experimentation with various materials, the 'EJ 605' was released a year later, which closely resembled its predessor but was crafted of steel. A true original, the Corona chair was completely unique in design, using (seemingly suspended) concentric shapes to make up its form, yet sacrificing nothing in the way of function and comfort. Our version is reproduced to the style of the original design.
